Kohgakusha is searching for creative and enthusiastic teachers of English for the positions listed below. Although we have some adult classes (including those at our PEG division, teaching students aged from 1.5 years old to adults) most of our students are kids. This means if you are experienced and love work-ing with kids we want to hear from you! Since we take care of small children, people who love working with kids and have experience are especially welcome! ＜Requirements＞ ✅ Must love working with kids! 👨🏫👩🏫 New hires will become part of a small team of 4 or 5 teachers at each school, working together to help their kids have fun, learn English, and build confidence in their language skills! We encourage our teachers to try new approaches, with all teachers having the freedom to plan their own lessons and tailor them to their students’ needs while being guided by our overall curriculum. As well as helping our students grow, we strive to create an environment where our teachers can grow too. We hold regular training and always have mentors available for advice. Additionally, we offer a leadership route for advancement for teachers who show potential and want to build their careers. 🏫 We have ten schools based in the Kanto area surrounding Tokyo, all within 30 minutes to an hour of travel to central Tokyo. Each school has a small team of native teachers, and bilingual Japanese staff who are always there to offer support. ✨ We provide training, longer vacations (Golden Week, Winter holidays etc.), salary does not change from month to month, and help to pay for Japanese classes. Teachers take care of their own regular classes and students.
